Rug Doctor Portable Carpet Cleaner Review

Rug Doctor Portable Carpet Cleaner

Today I’m going to be reviewing the Rug Doctor portable carpet cleaner. It’s quite a compact machine, and it’s not that heavy either. It has a convenient handle to carry it around. It’s based on the same Rug Doctor principle where it deep cleans, and it removes spots and stains from carpets from stairs upholstery and even vehicles which is quite convenient. If you’ve ever used a Rug Doctor before you would know that you normally have a clean water and detergent solution or the solution in one area and you have the wastewater tank which collects the dirty water. Now you have a motorized brush that is connected to the rest of the tubing and it’s all quite compact, so it actually folds in which is great for storage. The motorized brush will clean the spots with ease. You clean stains with the brush and you can also work it without the spray for quicker dry time. It comes with a carry handle, so you can lift up. It’s not very heavy can be lifted with ease and it has a handle that you can pull out. Because the cleaner is compact, storing it is not a problem. It doesn’t take up much space and you’re not having a cord hanging all around or you must loop it around the machine. I love the red color it’s a nice bright shiny red and not very big again, but it looks quite good. I tried used the Rug Doctor portable around a section of carpet that had a stubborn stain. I think the kids had just dropped something and it’s been there for some time now and hasn’t managed to take it out. The spot cleaner worked really well at removing the stain. I will have to admit that the portable cleaner is made for small areas. You could use it on a larger area but if you were going to use a Rug Doctor for a larger area I would suggest either renting or buying the larger one outright. This is one of the best spot cleaners I’ve used. It’s great also for stairs because it’s quite light and easy to handle and again great for the car especially if you have obviously if you have upholstery. I’ve used it on sofas with great results. I’m happy with the Rug Doctor portable, and I would recommend it if you’re on the market for a portable spot cleaner.
